Ray and I have been married 24 years. We have 4 boys and two girls. We have lived in seven states, including Utah, Illinois, Arizona, Indiana, Colorado, California, Minnesota, and recently returned to Colorado. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and we love our church. We enjoy being parents and helping our children through the ups and downs of life. Our oldest son, Jordan, served a mission for our church in Guatemala Quezaltenango and our second son, Aaron is currently serving in the France Lyon Mission. I recently completed a certification program to be a Strategic Strengths Coach and I love the impact this learning has had on my own life and I have a great desire to share my learning with others. Never a dull moment! Life is busy, sometimes complicated, but life is good, and we are blessed!

Jonathan cried after jumping in the pool. He was shocked how cold the water was.

We had a few friends over to help us celebrate the new year. Our children and their friends welcomed the new year by jumping in the pool at midnight. Whew...the water was freezing

Family Sleepover and Picnic in the Family Room

Family Tradition -- We hang out in the family room -- having a picnic, watching a movie,
and then we all sleep in the family room. It is a lot of fun!

Hanging with family in Sparks

The Saturday before Christmas, we drove to Sparks to visit with Allie and her family. We had fun dipping chocolates. This was my very first attempt at making fondant for the chocolates, usually I have just been a helper. We had a lot fun, and most of the children tried their hand at dipping. It is a little difficult. You could tell which ones Jonathan did. We may have to make this a new family tradition.

Santa even came to visit and knew Jonathan by name. He was so impressed, and a few days before Christmas told me he knew Santa was bringing him a skateboard because he had told the real Santa!

Burgandi sure loved the camera. Her face would immediately light up when she would see the light on the camera come on.

Friendship Club

Anna and Abbie had Friendship Club. Teagan and Lauren were able to come.
We had great fun making soap and sewing bags made from washcloths.
They wrapped the presents and each decided who to give their gift to.
Finished off playing the Wii

Abbie's 2nd Grade Holiday Celebration Performance

Jonathan entertained himself before the program taking self-portraits and pictures of his friends with the camera. At least he kept himself busy without running around or climbing over chairs.

Abbie had great fun singing with the 2nd grade.

Jonathan turns 6!

Jonathan was so excited for his birthday. Except we took his gifts to Utah, in case, we celebrated his birthday there. We ended up forgetting his gifts. So his birthday celebration came in waves. Here is the Spiderman cake. Luckily, Grandpa mailed his gifts, so he only had to wait a couple days for his presents to arrive.
The look of pure happiness is priceless.

He absolutely loved his gifts. He was so happy he had to get up and come give his Mom a hug!
